The heel cup had a very unfortunate incident while
strapped to the top of my friends truck while entering
a parking lot. The very large
steel bar printed "caution low
clearance" proved to be more durable than the aluminum U shape of the heel
cup. Luckily my girlfriends board was on top so
mine was left unscathed. However, she seemed pretty upset that her
relatively new binding that once had a nice U shape now looked as if somebody
hit the italic key on it. I was impressed that nothing else seemed
damaged, well except the hole ripped in the board bag. I am hoping I can
get a new heel cup without having to replace the binding or getting yelled at
by my now pretty upset girlfriend. Some stickers would be nice too.
